My client is looking for an experienced Account Manager to develop new accounts through channel sales in the FMCG industry. The successful incumbent must achieve sales within Hotels, restaurants, bars and Corporate Office channels.
•Understand end-consumer and customer needs in the Horeca and Office channels
•Grow the client base in this channel by identifying prospective accounts; securing and managing those accounts and developing the consumption potential of those accounts
•Establish and maintain Horeca and Office customer database
•Forge and develop relationships with the relevant key personnel at customer accounts
•Promote Nespresso products and secure orders for Nespresso capsules
•Follow up orders to delivery
•Respond to queries and complaints emanating from customer accounts and ensure that they are resolved
•Have and demonstrate the requisite technical selling skills, product knowledge and understanding of pricing required to function effectively in this position
•Relevant qualification an advantage
•Minimum of 4 to 6 years' experience in Food & Beverages
•Ability to build a good rapport with clients.
•Ability to negotiate and close deals.
•Proven track record of sales in similar Industry
